I do not even have the option to roll back to the previous pg versions (they have been removed/cleaned), I will have to install them again? Environment info The installation of the ruby version silently proceeded to update my complete brew-environment. When an update of the environment is required, do not do that automatically. The "funny" thing: the installation of 1.9.3 failed anyway, and now I still have to fix my postgres installation to make my dev machine usable again. My main gripe is that this happened "automatically", I would have preferred a warning so that I had to manually update my environment (and could at that time choose to do so or not). it was an upgrade from 10.x to 11.x resulting in my database files being incompatible.older versions of postgresql had to be erased?.When running rvm install 1.9.3-p194 suddenly my homebrew environment was also updated, resulting in a broken postgresql environment.
